How to add a profile picture to your email

You can add a image make your Gmail picture, such as your organization’s logo or a photo of yourself. When people hover over your name in their inboxes, contacts, or Google Hangouts lists, they see the picture and know who you are.

How to do it:

Add your profile photo

Step 1: Go to Gmail, click Settings icon and select Settings.

Step 2: In the General tab, scroll down to My picture and click Select a picture (or Change picture if you already have one displayed).

Step 3: Upload a photo from your computer, resize it as needed, and click Apply Changes.

Step 4: (Optional) Specify whether you want the image visible to everyone or just people you chat with.
